The Oxford Bibliographical Society was founded in 1922 with the aim of encouraging bibliographical research and publishing the fruits of that research in a series of monographs and occasional papers, as well as holding a regular series of lectures and other events on bibliographical topics. In 2015 it was registered as a Charity, with the Registered Charity Number 1162319.
